Lasavane Travel, a travel agency based in Atlanta-Georgia and Dakar-Senegal is organizing an African Summer Camp for the summer 2010. This project is intended to help the African parents living in the USA to save some money and send their kids to Africa to reconnect with their families. The camp is scheduled for June 2010 through August 2010.

DIFFERENT PACKAGES

BASIC PACKAGE

This includes only the plane ticket from one of our departure cities (New York or Washington D.C) to Dakar Senegal. You transport yourself from your city to either of the above. For $1320.00, your child travels safely from our departure city to Dakar and be handed over safely to your family back home. Ask us for details.

MEMORIES PACKAGE

This package includes a get together lunch at the departing city on the same day of travel, and a farewell party in Dakar on their return date. All participants shall get together, have the chance to meet new friends from different cities and travel together to the airport both in the USA and Africa. It will help to prevent lateness, identify all participants and orientate them about the project.

THE REAL DEAL-

This package includes all the above and one or two educational/fun activity while in Africa such as a visit to Goree Island, Saly etc (for Senegalese participants) or Juffureh, Abuko or Wassu (for the Gambian participants) and one of the TV STATIONS for them to share their live with the kids in Africa. For $1425.00, your child will have the opportunity to see one historic place while in Africa and document the m for future school or family use.

RECONNECTION/ FOURTH OF JULY PACKAGE

This package will allow the kids to feel being home in the USA. It includes all the above and will additionally give them the opportunity to celebrate the American independence (July 4^th) while in Africa. A party will be organized for them (to be covered by the media) at a park/very nice banquet hall in Dakar and Banjul with lots of fun activities to help them fight nostalgia. For $1500.00 your child will have the best experience ever in their life while saving you money.

*Please note that the same activities will go on in both Senegal and Gambia and your child has the option to participate in whichever country they prefer.

The project is open to participants from across the USA. Participants may transport themselves to any of our departing cities or we can add it to their package to determine their final price base on their original departure city and activity choice. Please provide us with details about your needs.
